Local Banker Jeff Sumpter Named to Portland Business Journal's Top Forty Under 40 List
Sumpter, who has over 17 years of banking experience with 10 years in community banking, was previously the Chief Lending Officer for a local community bank and held various branch management and sales positions at a super-regional bank. Sumpter joined the team at Lewis & Clark Bank as a co-founder in 2006. "I was driven to work with key partners to launch a new organization built around an outstanding team of employees," commented Sumpter.
Sumpter is former President of Gladstone Rotary Club and is a member of the Oregon Bankers Association Lending Committee. Mr. Sumpter is also on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Business Development Corporation, the Board of Trustees for Willamette Falls Hospital Foundation.
