Bank Customer Honored for Community Leadership

The OBA and Oregon Business magazine are proud to honor Mark Utti of Seaside as the recipient of the 2024 Community Applause Award!

Mark’s visionary leadership and entrepreneurial spirit have not only shaped Seaside’s business landscape but have also made a profound impact on his community. Leading 12 thriving businesses across hospitality, entertainment, property development, and retail, Mark employs nearly 300 people year-round and goes above and beyond to support their milestones and passions.
His commitment to giving back is equally impressive—whether funding youth sports, creating scholarships, or supporting causes close to his employees' hearts, Mark ensures that Seaside prospers alongside his ventures.

As part of the award, OBA presented Mark with a $1,000 donation to Seaside High School, which he generously matched to establish a $2,000 annual scholarship for local students—one he’s pledged to continue indefinitely.
